1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or engaging the services of AFRIMAMA Postpartum Care ("AFRIMAMA", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Our Services

AFRIMAMA provides in-home postpartum care services to mothers and families in Moncton, New Brunswick and surrounding areas. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • In-home postpartum support and care
  • Lactation and feeding guidance
  • African belly wrapping
  • Postpartum meal preparation
  • Herbal sitz baths and steam care
  • Newborn care and support
  • Emotional support and monitoring

All services are provided as general postpartum support. AFRIMAMA does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns.

3. Bookings and Payments

All service bookings are confirmed following a discovery consultation. Payment terms, methods, and schedules will be communicated and agreed upon prior to the commencement of services.

Packages and pricing are listed on our website and are subject to change. The price confirmed at the time of booking will be honoured for that booking.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that circumstances change, especially around birth. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours before a scheduled service will receive a full refund
  • Cancellations made within 72 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee
  • In the event of medical emergency or unforeseen birth complications, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a full refund at our discretion

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

5. Health and Safety

For the health and safety of our clients and care providers:

  • Clients are asked to disclose any relevant medical conditions prior to service commencement
  • AFRIMAMA reserves the right to decline or discontinue service if conditions are deemed unsafe for either party
  • Our care providers follow appropriate hygiene and safety practices at all times

6. Limitation of Liability

AFRIMAMA provides postpartum support services and is not a medical provider. We are not liable for any medical outcomes, complications, or conditions arising before, during, or after our services.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AFRIMAMA's total liability for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website including text, design, graphics, and branding is the property of AFRIMAMA Postpartum Care. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Brunswick.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
